Inturf Revetting turf is a specialist product developed for the construction and refurbishment of bunker faces, surrounds and revetted features on golf courses. Designed to provide strength, consistency and a traditional finish, it is trusted by greenkeepers and contractors looking to achieve a clean, professional result that performs as well as it looks.
Supplied in 30mm and 40mm depths, our revetting turf is available in either Classic or Masters grade. Each roll is harvested using our big roll machine, ensuring a consistent depth and strong turf profile throughout. This consistency is essential when constructing revetted turf, helping the turf knit together effectively and maintain its structure over time.
Revetting turf can be cut to lengths ranging from 5m to 8m and is supplied in either 600mm or 1.2m widths. These practical sizes allow for efficient handling and installation on site. Many greenkeepers choose to unroll the turf and cut it into shorter or narrower sections to suit the exact contours of each bunker. This flexibility makes it easier to follow tight curves, varying face heights and bespoke design features, resulting in a precise fit and a crisp, traditional finish.
The combination of sandy loam soils and carefully selected grass varieties makes Inturf Revetting turf particularly well suited to bunker construction. The turf retains its integrity while allowing the layers to bind together securely, delivering the durability required in high-wear golfing environments.
Whether you are creating new bunkers, restoring traditional revetted faces or refurbishing existing features, Inturf Revetting turf provides a premium and reliable solution for courses seeking long-term performance and visual impact.
Used by Golf Courses Nationwide
“We’ve used INTURF’s revetting turf extensively this season across our bunker renovation programme, including building new faces, returfing bunker surrounds and other areas of the course. The quality has been excellent throughout, and it’s been a real asset to the work we’ve carried out. We’ll continue to come back to INTURF whenever we need turf.”
Andrew Kerr MG, Course Manager, Surbiton Golf Club

For guidance on turf quantity, please provide us with the dimensions of the area you wish to turf, and we can assist in calculating your requirements.
Turf should ideally be laid as soon as possible after delivery, especially during the summer months (April to September), to ensure optimal freshness and health. If turf is left rolled up in the heat it can sustain turf heating.
Immediately after installation, turf should be watered thoroughly, both in the morning and evening, for approximately one hour each time, for a period of 28 days unless there is significant rainfall. Read our blog on ‘Watering newly laid turf’ for more information.
It is recommended to lay the turf as soon as it is delivered, particularly during warmer months, to prevent drying out and ensure successful establishment.
