Inturf Classic is generally suitable for most applications. We do also have our RTF turf a durable and low maintenance turf and our Masters turf which is best suited for golf courses. We recommend discussing your specific needs with us for tailored advice.
For guidance on turf quantity, please provide us with the dimensions of the area you wish to turf, and we can assist in calculating your requirements.
Turf should ideally be laid as soon as possible after delivery, especially during the summer months (April to September), to ensure optimal freshness and health. If turf is left rolled up in the heat it can sustain turf heating.
Immediately after installation, turf should be watered thoroughly, both in the morning and evening, for approximately one hour each time, for a period of 28 days unless there is significant rainfall. Read our blog on ‘Watering newly laid turf’ for more information.
It is recommended to lay the turf as soon as it is delivered, particularly during warmer months, to prevent drying out and ensure successful establishment.
We supply Melcourt blended loam topsoil which is fully compliant with British Standard 3882:2015 ‘Multipurpose Grade’. It’s carefully manufactured, high-quality soil, consisting of sandy loam and organic matter.
We have two bark products available both supplied by Melcourt, a leading supplier of peat-free compost, mulches and soil improvers. Our Playbark is most suited for play areas where you need a safe, durable and natural bark option. The Ornamental Bark Mulch is more of a decorative bark for gardens, flower beds, pathways and car park borders to give a few examples.
