Wildflower Turf

A natural mix of native wildflowers, ideal for enhancing biodiversity.
Wildflower Turf

Transform your garden into a vibrant, eco-friendly space with Wildflower Turf. This expertly crafted turf brings a meadow-like charm to any garden, combining the beauty of 27 native wildflower species. Perfect for landscapers, gardeners, golf courses and anyone looking to promote biodiversity, Wildflower Turf offers a sustainable solution to enhance any environment.

Designed with nature in mind, this perennial wildflower mix creates an ever-changing display of colourful blooms and lush greenery throughout the year. Not only does it attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, but it also requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for those looking to balance aesthetics with sustainability.

With Wildflower Turf, you can enjoy a stunning and natural garden that evolves seasonally while reducing your environmental impact. Whether for gardens, public spaces, or commercial landscapes, this is your ticket to a more biodiverse future.

This perennial mix ensures stunning blooms and lush greenery year after year, with minimal effort. Its vibrant display can reach an impressive height of 3-4 feet, adding a dynamic, meadow-like charm to any landscape.

Low maintenance is at the heart of Wildflower Turf. With just two cuts a year needed – one at the end of spring and another in late autumn – you can enjoy a beautiful, natural space without constant upkeep. The turf is designed to thrive in low-nutrient soils, so no need for rich ground; it adapts well to existing soil conditions.

Wildflower Turf is also highly versatile, performing well in shaded areas as long as they receive some sunlight during the day. Shade-tolerant wildflowers in the mix will flourish, while others may not reach their full potential, ensuring a balanced and natural look.

Inturf Classic is generally suitable for most applications. We do also have our RTF turf a durable and low maintenance turf and our Masters turf which is best suited for golf courses. We recommend discussing your specific needs with us for tailored advice.

For guidance on turf quantity, please provide us with the dimensions of the area you wish to turf, and we can assist in calculating your requirements.

Turf should ideally be laid as soon as possible after delivery, especially during the summer months (April to September), to ensure optimal freshness and health. If turf is left rolled up in the heat it can sustain turf heating.

Immediately after installation, turf should be watered thoroughly, both in the morning and evening, for approximately one hour each time, for a period of 28 days unless there is significant rainfall. Read our blog on ‘Watering newly laid turf’ for more information.

It is recommended to lay the turf as soon as it is delivered, particularly during warmer months, to prevent drying out and ensure successful establishment.

We supply Melcourt blended loam topsoil which is fully compliant with British Standard 3882:2015 ‘Multipurpose Grade’. It’s carefully manufactured, high-quality soil, consisting of sandy loam and organic matter.

We have two bark products available both supplied by Melcourt, a leading supplier of peat-free compost, mulches and soil improvers. Our Playbark is most suited for play areas where you need a safe, durable and natural bark option. The Ornamental Bark Mulch is more of a decorative bark for gardens, flower beds, pathways and car park borders to give a few examples.
